Busy Days and Weekends

Blogging was almost forgotten, tasks and responsibilities were in waiting to be done, and so on and so forth, whew! The next big event after the Notre Dame Day was my advisory’s recollection. I really convinced our Assistant Principal that I must be with them during their recollection. It was more than fun but to be present with them. That’s one of our spirituality, right? PRESENCE.

Br. Teofilo Minga, FMS arrived for a meeting with the young student leaders of Notre Dame of Kidapawan College; from Elementary, High School and College Department. He was talking about the Marist Spirituality that is presented by the book, “Water from the Rock.” He is commissioned to talk about it, receive feedback and bring it again to Rome.

A Good Start to Understand My Future Students

We started the workshop by putting our observations in and outside the campus regarding with the adolescents. Though the reports of each group were substantial, Ms. Mella began with the nature of the young adolescents. This is the stage when the adolescents faces psychological crisis; when they ask questions like, “Who am I and what is my goal in life?” It is an important, crucial, transitional period for them, when they search for identity.
