Happiness For An Ordinary Teacher

I can still remember one night in my prayer after my last class in the evening, “Lord, give meaning to what I am doing.” With this short recollection, my prayers were answered once more… And I felt satisfied, contented for the day. That recollected experience with the Afternoon Class gave another meaning to my teaching profession and more than that, to my vocation as a religious brother.

New Hearts for a New World

The XXI General Chapter of the Marist Brothers of the Schools begins today, September 8, until October 10, 2009 (The First General Chapter happened in 1839). With its theme, “New Hearts for a New World,” the participants from the different parts of the world will gather themselves to reflect once more about the challenges of the new world today.

Random Thoughts About Past Week's Experiences

While composing this entry, I am eating fresh durian fruit from Mindanao dala ng aking superior. Masarap! Super-sarap. Last Friday, I was suppose to bring some from Mindanao also but with my short stay, I unfortunately missed the plan. Though it was not the main reason why I left Marikina for Mindanao, I have a lot of things to be thankful.

With the meaningful experiences I had last week, it is indeed good to express them here sometimes. I own this good experiences. Of course, bad experiences, too.
