About

THE BLOG

‘Ot! Why ‘Ot!? and what does it mean? It’s a “mark.” It marked another religious experience I had during the Holy Week retreat. It’s the sequel of the “Itinerant’s Path.”

THE BLOGGERBr. Vince J. Celeste, FMS

Hi, I am Brother Vince, a member of the Marist Brothers of the Schools (FMS).  At present, I teach at one of our schools; teaching Christian Living Education (Values Education). I’ve been blogging since the last quarter of 2005.

You might be wandering what happened to my blog entries for more than four years. I simply lost them; lost my  database back up. Promise, I will re-publish my entries one at a time while maintaining the date when it was first published here.

This Itinerant’s Blog is my own self-expression in a fast-changing world. Yup, I’m a religious brother and I do blog my reflections, experiences and even poems and prayers.

THE MINIMALIST

Learning from my formation years, I appreciate the simplicity of life, and still learning and trying to simplify my own life. Is it easy? No, but I’m trying.

This Blogsite, as what I mentioned above, is my self-expression. The simplicity of the design, hopefully represents my life’s goal and way of life: a Marist Brother.

A BROTHER

Anybody can be a brother, yes. But to Brother (verb form) is different. I professed my vows of chastity, poverty and obedience as a Marist Brother, a congregation of teaching brothers founded by Saint Marcellin Champagnat in France, year 1817.
