Retirement

Jun 03 2010

It’s not too early to talk about retirement, right? Someone asked, “What are the three important plans you want to fulfill before retiring? How about after retiring?”

“I’ve reach 60! I must retire!”

Can it be retirement from career? Or retirement as, “I’ve reach 60! I must retire!”

So what did I say?  Before I retire, I will be able to attain satisfaction and contentment to what I am asked to do by my superiors, have lived a simpler lifestyle than what I have today and to always keep in-touch with my being; for in that way, I may be able to keep in-touch always with the divine in my life.

After I retire (age 60?), will develop my talent and enjoy painting; maybe still life and abstract, will enjoy telling stories (but when should I really start?) and lastly, visit and enjoy the presence of the people while waiting for my life’s end. Would that be enough? May my present life speaks about eternal happiness.
