You Disturbed Me Dear Lord
Father, thank you for disturbing me for almost a week. Your presence and words intimidated my comfort and state of mind. In our conversations brought me back to my early life, when all I wanted were to be followed. My religious experiences, I narrated to you; yet you challenged me and provoked me to think again. You brought me to the time when I really wanted to be at “peace and secured.” Time passed by, time made me savor my youthful spontaneity. And here I am saying, ” You disturbed me in your presence, Lord.”
You tease me with the circumstances that come everyday
Sending different people on my way
You entitled me as the itinerant
In the path which sometimes I didn’t want. You presented strangers whom I don’t know
In everyday river that ever flows
Things, places and people
Speak to me louder and louder.Worthiness is out of question
Your love is with the creation
Reassures me of that love
That other people may also have.
