Philippine Sector Conducts Summer Vocation Workshop

The Marist Aspirancy House hosts a Summer Vocation Workshop for those are interested to become Marist Aspirants. The workshop is being facilitated by six Brothers namely, Br. Leo Siva, Br. Albert Bolibol, Br. Vince Celeste, Br. Joe Torrecampo, the Vocation Director, Br. Wency Calimpon, the Superior of the house and Br. Larry Sevilla, the Director of this year’s workshop.

There are 15 workshoppers from different places. They are the following:

2. Rudyvileo G. Rameriz from Purok 10B, Katangawan , G.S.C.
3. Rien John Corotan from Saguing, Makilala, Cotabato City
4. Rowell Tandoy from Bagumba Midsayap, Cotabato City
5. John Emil I. Alada from Dumadalig, Tantangan, South Cotabato
6. Mark Padernal from Bo. 2 Sto. Nino, Koronadal City
7. Nester Martinez from Dona Soledad Subdivision
8. Jason Maghanoy from Governor Gutierez Avenue, Cotabao City
9. Charlie Mange Martinez from F. Millan Street, Cotabato City
10. Ryan Jay Abrenilla from Abaga, Libungan, Cotabato City
11. Harry Gullon III from Nuro, Upi, Shariff Kabunsuan
12. Fred Angelou I. Mundo from Darugao, Upi, Maguindanao
13. Giepol John T. Esteban from Poblacion Libugan, Cotabato City

Yesterday, parents of some workshoppers arrived for the Parents’ Day Celebration with a them, “Marist Experience: A New Beginning of Family Building.” They were introduced to different stages of formation in the Marist Aspirancy House. If their son would be interested to join, they were expected to familiarize their responsibilities as parents.

The summer vocation workshop was started last April 15, Wednesday until May 3, 2009 at Marist Aspirancy House, NDDU-IBED Lagao Campus. The workshoppers are to experience community , prayer and apostolic life in three weeks, and at the end decide whether to join the formation year next school year.
