Weekend School Activities at NDMU
Series of school activities made my weekend busy but quite worthy experiences. Last Friday, Muslim Student Organization just conducted the second Islamic Symposium as part of week-long NDMU Peace and Development Days. The activity held at SMC Hall was attended by more or less 200 students of Notre Dame of Marbel University. Dr. Rashid D. Chin, Al Hadji from Tacurong City, was the resource speaker, giving us insight about Islam, and role of women in Islam with a theme, “Understanding Islam, a vehicle towards Unity, Peace and development.” I would like to congratulate Norhashim M. Ulangkaya, the President of Muslim Students Oranization here at NDMU. He is also the present president of Young Mindanawans’ Peace Builders. Thank you also for inviting me as one of your guests last Friday.
