SMC Class: The Winning Crusaders
Better late than never to congratulate my advisory, the Saint Marcellin Champagnat Class. I know, you’ve been following my blog when and how would I post our class pictures especially that we became champions for Volleyball boys, Basketball and Dart in Junior division during last intramurals!
Your effort and determination are admirable since you were able to unite as one class despite and in spite of difficulties at first. Planning stage was difficult for us especially in choosing our best players for the different games during intrams. But when we were on our way to the College covered court, I was amazed with our section. Remember that you chose your name as “Crusaders” without knowing what does it really mean. The banner, which I personally made, was for all of you; ang-galing ano! Simple nga pero cool!
During the games, I sensed your determination to win by cooperating with your teammates. You did not forget the objective of the Intramurals. Most of you joined the competitions (and just few did something stupid that affected our good players).
Though wala ako during the third and last day of the Intrams, you constantly updated me of what was happening during the basketball game; reason why I was not able to concentrate well to my review. But that was fine. I was excited, too. As if I was still with you , cheering with the team! Basketball and Volleyball boys players, that was something memorable. Eizer Soliman, one of those who “graduated” during the basketball, you did your best, too kaya h’wag mag-alala… Nalipay man gyapon ko ninyo tanan, hehehe…To all class officers led by Jude Campued and Oryl Arnoco, Darlene Beltran and company, Flora Vi Soria and friends, team captains and cheerers, you are all winners! Kaya magsaya kayo.
But sad to mention that when I wasn’t around, most of the open game players did not compete. We lost points that I believe, supposed to lift us up to be the overall champion. Di bale, I admit, wala ako that time to supervise as your coach/adviser.
Remember what I told you before I left last Friday? Being crusaders is not only aiming to be the champion, but also as winners by heart, following the rules and objectives of our activity, the High School Intramurals. Congratulations!
Thanks also to Saint Joseph Class for the moral support to the SMCians!
P.S.: Yung swimming plan natin, later na lang….
