Blogging from Ateneo… it's yesterday's.
Atenista na po ako, kaya lang visitor nga lang; ok, di pa rin Atenista.
I woke up late this morning after staying late at night. I didn’t want to sleep early since the morning structure was just ok. Morning prayer was set late and breakfast followed with usual cup of tea and slice of bread for my morning. After housechores, checking emails and blog reading, it came into my thought that I have a two hours session with a counselor. So I did prepared myself for the meeting. Afternoon, after lunch, prepared to go, I checked any new emails and here, I found one disturbing offlime YM message. This person was a long lost chatmate. We had interesting chats before and now gone again. I missed those days.
Here at Ateneo, I feel like one of the students, not as a client who visits for a meeting, maybe because I dreamed of studying in this school or even in Ateneo de Davao with the scholarship I had, in contrary to Sash’s encouragement that I will study at UST. UST is Pontifical, meaning, directly connected to Vatican! Yes, it is. She studied in that school. But seems there’s no difference; and today, I’m here, just visiting the place.
A minute before my appointment, here’s one young beautiful student. She asked to disturb me for three minutes , just for three minutes to help her with the paper or a thesis she is doing. T’was a thesis and seems she has the difficulty expressing her thougth. I helped her. “Father, may you help me with my thesis? What is the difference between frequent and seldom?” Was little bit shocked and flattered. I said, “Yes” After some conversation, we were able to find answers for some questions, then I asked her name and learned that she is a visiting student from Indonesia, Ok rin naman sya…And we introduced ourselves to each other…I smiled and walked away as she smiled with me. What a feeling I had before my meeting… hanep, dre….. Astig!
On this day..

Naintriga naman daw ako sa YM message na yun!
U know what kuya, I haven’t met a single person who never dreamt of studying at Ateneo. I dreamt of it din kaso we don’t have the resources if ever. Plus the fact that mas matimbang pa rin sa puso ko ang UST! Hahaha!
She called you “Father”? Aba! Okay yun ah! Akala ko rin dati father ka di ba? hehe
